SmartAdvisor Lab
Current network evidence collected through VPN tunnels. Results below describe public endpoint reachability, not account access or video playback.

What this run measures
A server sends an HTTP request to a public platform URL through a WireGuard VPN tunnel. We record the tunnel exit, timestamp, HTTP response and whether the result is still fresh.
What it does not prove
- Account sign-in or subscription eligibility
- Regional catalogue availability
- DRM, manifest delivery or video playback
- Streaming quality, bitrate or device compatibility
How to use SmartAdvisor Lab data
SmartAdvisor Lab is a technical evidence hub for VPN, privacy and streaming diagnostics. It does not promise access to any third-party service and it does not replace account rules, platform terms or local law. Its job is narrower and more useful: show what a route, DNS path or public endpoint check looked like at a specific time, then connect that evidence to practical troubleshooting.
Use the Lab as a starting point, not as a final verdict. A public endpoint can be reachable while an account, app, DRM layer or regional catalogue still fails. The value is in separating layers: network route, DNS behaviour, IP reputation, device setup and platform response.
Core Lab areas
- Leak Test: IP, DNS, IPv6 and WebRTC exposure checks.
- Speed Test: baseline, VPN compare, ping, jitter and loaded latency.
- Streaming Diagnostic: device, route, DNS and platform troubleshooting.
- Lab Reports: archived measurement summaries and methodology notes.
Methodology checkpoints
Every useful VPN test needs context. We record the tested route, timestamp, response class and freshness of the measurement where possible. For speed, the best comparison is baseline first, VPN second. For leaks, the useful comparison is normal connection first, VPN connection second. For streaming diagnostics, the most important distinction is whether the issue is account, device, DNS, IP reputation or throughput.
| Question | Best tool | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Is the VPN exposing DNS or WebRTC? | Leak Test | Normal connection vs VPN connection |
| Is the tunnel too slow for video or calls? | Speed Test | Baseline vs VPN Compare |
| Is streaming failing because of device or route? | Streaming Diagnostic | Account, device, DNS, IP and latency signals |
| Is a measurement still fresh? | Lab dashboard | Generated time and current check status |
Limits and legal scope
Lab measurements are informational. They do not grant access rights, bypass subscriptions or guarantee availability. Services can change detection rules, content rights, rate limits and technical behaviour without notice. The safest reading is diagnostic: use the data to understand what is failing, then follow the provider terms and the law in your country.
For country-specific guidance, use the relevant local articles and tools. The UK and Spanish sections are prepared for public indexing; additional language sections are being built separately and stay inactive until they are complete.
Scope: Technical measurements only. Platform availability, rights and terms can change. SmartAdvisorOnline is not affiliated with the services listed above.
